Introduction
Gone but not
forgotten. Ladycross, a preparatory school in southern England was home to
around two thousand pupils over almost a century. The school closed in 1977 and
the buildings subsequently demolished leaving only memories. This website
relives those memories for all the pupils and staff who remember their time at
the school.
We hope to add more content to this site over the next few months but need your help. If you have old photographs, drawings or other keepsakes from your time at Ladycross we would love to add them to our on-line collection: please contact us at info@ladycross.org.uk.

The End
Sometime shortly after the school's closure in 1977 the building was raised to the ground and a housing estate built on the site. These three photos were taken after the demolition.
